![]() ![]() When I think Frank Miller, I see this in my mind Issue 158 is where I happen to be now, and I’ve been eagerly anticipating this run so I figured it is a perfect issue for a retro review.īeing completely transparent, I’m not the biggest Frank Miller fan. Gene Colan, John Byrne, Marv Wolfman among others were on the book at this time, and I like all of them. I read the first 25 issues than jumped to issue 138. It was very much a villain of the month book. Daredevil was a globe-trotting swashbuckler basically. It wasn’t always that way though! I tried to read from issue one and just couldn’t do it. ![]() The art is also top-notch!! Liking the current run so much caused my interest in what has become one of the most respected and stable runs of any Marvel character. Chip Zdarsky has crafted an intriguing story, with many threads. ![]() If you aren’t reading it, I HIGHLY recommend it. The Marvel Universe and DC Universe apps are getting some serious use by me!!ĭaredevil is my favorite current book by either of the big two.
